In this leadership role, you will manage design activities for electrical systems while coaching and developing your team located in Oakville. Your familiarity with electrical design software and regulatory standards will be crucial as you oversee the creation of technical drawings and documentation. Engage in client meetings and provide timely technical support to maintain project momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Electrical/CAD design team effectively
• Review and approve design documentation
• Ensure adherence to engineering codes and standards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years in power and control systems
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and similar software
• P.Eng. designation highly desirable
• PLC programming knowledge is preferred
