Take the lead on complex industrial projects as an Instrumentation Superintendent with Aecon in Calgary or Saskatchewan. Drive execution of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring optimal safety and compliance.
Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. seeks a skilled superintendent to oversee instrumentation scope within its multi-disciplined construction team. The role encompasses supervising installations, calibrations, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring operational integrity in alignment with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead field execution of instrumentation and control setup
• Review P& loop diagrams for accurate installations
• Oversee commissioning of field devices and control systems
• Mentor forepersons and apprentices for team development
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in industrial construction focused on instrumentation
• Supervisory experience in instrumentation or control systems
• Strong knowledge of testing, calibration, and commissioning
• Valid Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician certification preferred
• Solid understanding of regulation standards and safety procedures
