Principal Process Safety Engineer

In this full-time role, you will ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards are met for various projects. Your tasks will include providing technical assurance, guiding risk mitigation measures, and leading safety engineering activities. Collaborating with other Process Safety Engineers, you will contribute to studies and facilitate workshops, ensuring that safety remains integral to project design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations

• Lead safety studies including risk assessments and consequence modelling

• Guide and prioritize activities for Process Safety Engineering Contractors

• Facilitate hazard workshops such as HAZID and HAZOP

• Contribute to the maintenance of safety engineering standards

Requirements:

• Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent

• P. Eng (Alberta) designation

• Extensive process safety engineering experience

• Familiarity with oil and gas facilities and chemical industries

• Knowledge of local fire protection standards
