WSP is seeking a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of experience in mine waste and geotechnical engineering. In this leadership role, you will design and evaluate tailings storage facilities and oversee strategic projects that influence environmental and regulatory outcomes. Your expertise will guide the mentorship of junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design tailings storage facilities and waste management systems
• Lead geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations for projects
• Provide strategic input into environmental planning and risk management
• Oversee complex projects from concept to execution
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineering staff
Requirements:
• 10–15 years in mine waste or geotechnical engineering
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary projects
• Strong knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes
