Position: Lead Civil Engineer for Mining Projects
Make an impactful contribution as a Lead Civil Engineer with Ausenco in the North American mining industry. Engage in critical project phases while ensuring safety and timely delivery of construction tasks.
This role requires a skilled leader with a bachelor's degree in civil, mining, or geotechnical engineering and at least 12 years of experience in EPCM projects. As the Lead Civil Engineer, you will manage onsite activities, ensuring project delivery aligns with Ausenco's objectives while leading civil and earthworks delivery across various infrastructures.

Your role will be pivotal in coordinating mining and infrastructure interfaces for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all onsite project activities and team availability

• Lead civil and earthwork tasks encompassing drainage and roads

• Oversee construction work to meet deadlines and budget

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Support Project Director in leadership team functions
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• 12+ years of EPCM project experience in mining

• At least 5 years in a senior construction leadership role

• Strong knowledge of heavy earthworks and infrastructure

• Willingness to travel for project needs
