HGC is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dedicated team in downtown Calgary. This role focuses on civil infrastructure for upstream and midstream oil and gas projects, utilizing your expertise in areas like site grading and water management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and deliver impactful engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil engineering aspects of industrial projects

• Collaborate with hydro geologists and construction managers

• Conduct site assessments for optimal design solutions

• Ensure regulatory compliance with Alberta laws

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in civil or environmental engineering

• 8+ years in civil engineering for industrial projects

• P.Eng. designation with APEGA or EGBC eligibility

• Strong project management and leadership skills

• Experience with stormwater and wastewater design preferred
