Acero Engineering Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to step into this Senior Process Engineer position, either as an Employee or Contractor. The role involves applying extensive knowledge in gas processing, PSV sizing, and design, while ensuring timely project management. You will work independently to conduct process simulations, create detailed reports, and keep abreast of all relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS and other software

• Analyze gas processing, pipeline sizing, and flare systems

• Write and communicate process documentation independently

• Design projects with minimal oversight from Senior Process Engineer

• Develop P&Fs and P&IDs with a full understanding of drawing components

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering

• Registered engineer in Alberta (APEGA; EGBC)

• At least 10 years in oil and gas facility operations

• Proficient using HYSYS software

• Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
