As part of continued growth in the mission‑critical and digital infrastructure sector, the firm is expanding its data centre project delivery group. This team supports the planning, coordination, engineering, and execution of complex data centre projects across North America.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Data Centre Project Manager to support the successful delivery of data centre and mission‑critical infrastructure projects.

This role will work closely with senior project managers, engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to coordinate project activities, maintain schedules and documentation, and support communication across multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate may come from an engineering, construction, business administration, communications, or project coordination background. The most significant requirements are strong organization, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project managers and engineering teams with the coordination of data centre and mission‑critical infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
  • Assist with project scheduling, meeting coordination, action item tracking, and project reporting.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, meeting minutes, and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, contractors, vendors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
  • Assist with procurement tracking, vendor coordination, document control, and project administration activities.
  • Monitor project milestones and follow up on outstanding tasks to support schedule adherence.
  • Support project cost tracking, invoicing coordination, and change management documentation.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting summaries, status updates, and client-facing materials as required.
  • Participate in project meetings and help ensure key decisions, action items, and next steps are clearly documented.
  • Ensure project records and documentation are maintained in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, project procedures, and internal best practices.
  • Assist with field coordination and site activities when required by project scope.
Core Competencies
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, project administration, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting data centre, construction, engineering, infrastructure, EPCM, or mission‑critical projects is considered an asset.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple tasks, deadlines, stakeholders, and project priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, document control systems, or project reporting platforms is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Comfortable working in evolving project environments with shifting priorities and active deadlines.
  • Professional, client‑focused, and able to maintain accurate documentation and clear communication across project teams.
Education and Experience
  • Post‑secondary education in engineering, business administration, project management, communications, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in EPCM, construction, engineering consulting, infrastructure, data centre, mission‑critical, or industrial project environments is considered an asset.
