Steel Reef is hiring an experienced Pipeline Integrity Engineer in Calgary to enhance the safety and reliability of pipelines in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and North Dakota. Your CSA standards expertise is essential.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Asset Integrity, you will be integral to the Operations Engineering group. This role will see you coordinating risk assessments, supporting inspection activities, and working collaboratively with field operations. Your contributions will help us achieve our ambitious growth goals in energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering assessments per CSA Z662
• Document risk assessments and pipeline inventories
• Recommend and interpret inspection activities
• Support planning and execution of pipeline inspections
• Maintain pipeline inventory datasets effectively
Requirements:
• Registered Professional Engineer or Technologist
• 5-10 years of relevant pipeline experience
• Proficient with pipeline codes and threats
• Experience with GIS and mapping software
• Willingness to travel frequently
