As an Emissions Technician, you will perform crucial inspections, utilizing Optical Gas Imaging cameras to detect and quantify emissions at various facilities. You will assist in navigating to sites, collect critical data, and prepare detailed field reports. Strong problem-solving skills and a degree in Engineering are vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect various oil and gas facilities for hydrocarbon leaks
• Utilize Optical Gas Imaging cameras for inspections
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of detection equipment
• Collect emission data and prepare required field reports
• Work independently during some shifts
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, etc.)
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Availability for weekend and holiday work
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Knowledge of LDAR hardware preferred
