Elevate your career with Stage 3 as a Solids Control Field Technician in Calgary. This role involves managing solids control equipment and is essential for efficient drilling operations.
As a new team member at Stage 3, you will work 12-hour shifts on a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule at various remote sites across Canada. This role emphasizes safety while allowing you to learn about solids control equipment, including shaker tanks and centrifuges, under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations
• Operate solids control equipment like pumps and centrifuges
• Perform fluid analysis and rig up/down equipment
• Participate actively in safety meetings daily
• Maintain clean work environments with pressure washing equipment
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preference for a technical diploma in Technology or Mechanics
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license in Canada
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Customer service-oriented with mechanical inclination
