This contract role spans two years, requiring you to lead land acquisition and stakeholder engagement activities aligned with project objectives. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including legal and regulatory bodies, is key to resolving land-related issues. You will ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements, working closely with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate landowner engagement and acquisition activities
• Identify land requirements, constraints, and associated risks
• Manage land cost estimates and oversee third-party consultants
• Develop strategies for complex land issues and negotiations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of land processes
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent in related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of land experience in energy sector
• Proven negotiation and project management skills
• Knowledge of Canadian land regulatory regimes
• Valid driver’s license required
