Job SummaryWe are seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join our Calgary, AB team. The role reports directly to the Site/Civil Lead and focuses on planning, design, and permitting of land and community development projects including residential, mixed‑use, commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.
Job Responsibilities- Assist the Site/Civil Lead across all phases of project delivery and client service.
- Prepare proposals and fee estimates.
- Develop and modify engineering documents such as reports, memos, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and cost estimates.
- Create design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
- Coordinate with permitting authorities for approvals.
- Leverage knowledge of Calgary and adjacent municipalities’ permitting processes.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT designation with APEGA; P. Eng. designation with APEGA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, utility design, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and work collaboratively.
