AECOM Calgary is Hiring a Project Coordinator for their transportation team
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate engineering support throughout the construction phase of a major transit infrastructure project involving elevated guideway & stations, power propulsion substations, and ancillary site works associated with such infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers and senior team members in the day-to-day coordination of project activities.
Assist in tracking project deliverables to ensure alignment with AECOM’s quality standards.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action logs, and other project controls.
Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
Help manage workflows, deadlines, and document submissions within project systems.
QualificationsBachelor Degree in an engineering discipline + 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, construction management role OR Technical Diploma in construction + 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred QualificationsIdeally 3+ years of relevant work experience in a project coordination or support role, preferably within the infrastructure or transportation sector.
Familiar with P3 or alternative delivery project models.
Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-focused.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Aconex and Blue Beam.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
