In collaboration with Raise, Enbridge is seeking a Senior Oversight Electrical Engineer to oversee engineering for solar and wind projects across North America. This key role requires an extensive background in high-voltage substations and renewable energy systems as well as the capability to guide cross-functional teams. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring safety, compliance, and excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough reviews of EPC contractor deliverables
• Provide technical guidance for design improvements
• Authenticate designs for high-voltage substations
• Align with local and federal compliance requirements
• Direct technical assessment of vendor bids and proposals
Requirements:
• 10+ years in electrical engineering design and commissioning
• 3+ years in renewable energy sectors
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
• P.Eng. certification is required
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and communication protocols
