De Havilland Aircraft is seeking a skilled Materials & Processes Engineer to work in Calgary. Contribute to aerospace innovations by overseeing material evaluations and supplier compliance.
This key engineering role requires you to analyze and approve critical modifications and special processes for aircraft manufacturing. With more than five years in aerospace materials, you will ensure environmental compliance, guide production teams, and maintain documentation to uphold industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate aircraft and process modifications
• Assess materials for aerospace applications
• Update specifications and ensure compliance
• Review supplier manufacturing processes for adherence
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant aerospace materials experience
• Understanding of AS9100 quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Eligible for licensing as a Professional Engineer in BC or Ontario
