Would you like to play a pivotal & instrumental role in the integration of Pembina Pipeline’s midstream asset base, across ~ 18,000+ km of pipe, facilities & infrastructure in an evolving energy market?

• Champion Pembina’s Zero by Choice safety culture and Life Saving Rules by embedding physical, psychological, and cyber safety into all HR practices. Ensure compliance and audit readiness while empowering employees to speak up, remain vigilant to risks, and actively protect our people, assets, and data.
• Work with multi‑disciplinary teams and engage internal and external stakeholders to develop efficient fit‑for‑purpose and cost‑effective proposals, projects, and solutions for customers.
• Maximise value and market performance by evaluating alternative services for existing assets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Scheduling and Hydraulic teams to maximise existing assets and through puts.
• Define, quantify, and evaluate pipeline system opportunities and risks to enable rationalisation and prioritisation against business performance criteria.
• Create and analyse hydraulic models for preliminary scoping and option vetting of commercial opportunities.
• Identify new opportunities and generate preliminary work packages for schedule and cost estimation.
• Support the generation of pipeline service agreements and contracts.
• Act as a safety role model within commercial and technical discussions, ensuring safety remains foundational to scope, schedule, and business decisions.
• Establish and communicate system and pipeline capacities, aligning across working groups to define and establish pipeline metrics.
• Provide ongoing Business Development and Commercial support for preliminary project vetting, leveraging expertise for initial option analysis.
• Travel occasionally to field locations for project scoping and integration.
• Develop and build functional documents and system reports to summarise technical data and modelling, distilling complex ideas and challenges into consumable, business‑relevant deliverables.
• Actively support and generate deliverables for complex and multi‑disciplinary projects to support business growth.
• Present summarised ideas and review technical information across a wide array of audiences.
• Amalgamate and model contractual obligations, operational requirements, volumetric throughput, capacity, and system changes.
• Think broadly across opportunities and challenges to arrive at new alternatives that create value in alignment with Pembina’s values.
• Visibly demonstrate commitment and personal accountability to Pembina’s Zero by Choice safety culture and foster this within the team.
• Incorporate and enhance safety processes and practices to all work‑related activities, maintaining safe operating and design limits.
• Participate actively and support Pembina’s equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

• Hold a degree in Engineering and be registered and in good standing with APEGA.
• Have 10+ years of engineering experience, including a strong track record in project definition, hydraulic modelling, and supporting pipeline and facility operations.
• Have experience with hydraulic modelling/software such as Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS), Synergi Gas, Pipe Sim, or Synergi Gas.
• Possess robust technical understanding of liquid and gas pipeline hydraulics, pumps/compressors, and operation of gas and liquid pipelines.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and present complex technical solutions to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• Be able to present and distil complex opportunities for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen across product volumes, contractual concepts, capital costs, operating expenses, and the resulting value generation.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, remaining flexible, adaptable, and a quick learner who demonstrates courage and perseverance.
