Join Airswift as a Principal Electrical Engineer in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. This contract role demands 15+ years of specialized experience in the EPC and Oil & Gas sectors.
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass managing large-scale electrical engineering projects. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supervising the engineering team. Additionally, you will coordinate procurement, address issues between clients and stakeholders, and support junior engineers in their development. This role is pivotal for delivering quality and timely engineering services.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee electrical engineering project management
- Direct procurement and construction phases effectively
- Lead the electrical engineering team in project execution
- Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders
- Support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in EPC/Oil & Gas
- Possession of a P.Eng (APEGA) designation mandatory
- Expertise in electrical engineering and associated standards
- Solid technical skills with a problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of international and local engineering specifications
