Your role will focus on detailed engineering and materials approval.
In this senior position, you'll oversee mechanical designs, review engineering documents, and ensure strict compliance with regional codes. Collaborating with various engineering disciplines, you will address complex technical challenges while mentoring junior staff on material and fabrication standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development of mechanical engineering designs
• Review and seal engineering documentation as required
• Select materials based on complex metallurgical conditions
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies
• Support construction activities and resolve site queries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• P.Eng. registration in Alberta and/or British Columbia
• Minimum 10 years in an engineering role within heavy industries
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes
• Must live in Calgary or be willing to relocate
