This position requires a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including fieldwork, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. The ideal candidate holds a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, particularly in ASME standards and stress analysis. You'll play a vital role in advising the piping stress team and ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform piping stress analysis using Caesar II software
• Conduct stress assessments in alignment with ASME and CSA standards
• Evaluate and review Material
Requisition s (MRs) for accuracy
• Analyze piping systems for critical applications in oil and gas
• Conduct field engineering reviews during construction phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred
• Strong experience in piping stress analysis
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
