** Job Description
** As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join our Calgary-based Engineering team, contributing to Mineral and Mining projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience in mechanical design, engineering analysis, and project execution. This role is designed to bridge academic theory with practical application, giving you exposure to industrial equipment design, and real-world problem-solving. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams to support the development of innovative, efficient, and reliable mechanical solutions.

** Key Responsibilities
*** Support the Engineering team in solving mechanical design and engineering challenges.
* Assist with daily engineering tasks as required, gaining real-world experience across different areas of mechanical engineering.
* Participate in the design and development of mechanical components.
* Create and develop AutoCAD drawings and 3D models.
* Contribute to the preparation of engineering documentation, including drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
* Other administrative or engineering duties assigned as necessary by senior engineering staff.
** Qualifications
* ** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of basic engineering principles.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor or similar.
* Ability to read drawings and to create sketches.
* Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
* Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to quickly absorb new concepts.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Professional, positive attitude and a strong team player.
* Must be legally able to work in Canada at time of application.
