HOCS Projects Inc. is seeking dynamic Intermediate and Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our Calgary team. You will lead and support mechanical design activities, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness from concept to commissioning. This role demands strong technical skills in equipment selection, ASME standards, and effective collaboration with multi-discipline teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical design activities through project life cycles
• Prepare and review mechanical specifications and calculations
• Select and evaluate mechanical equipment per industry codes
• Support procurement and participate in P&t
• Coordinate with vendors and support commissioning activities
Requirements:
• Intermediate: 5–10 years, Senior: 10+ years in oil & gas
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and CSA codes
• Experience in vendor coordination and mechanical design
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
