At HOCS Projects, you will work alongside a highly experienced team executing projects from concept through commissioning with a strong focus on cost predictability and constructability.

** What You Will Do
** Lead and support mechanical design activities from concept studies through detailed engineering and commissioning Prepare and review equipment data sheets, specifications, and mechanical design calculations Specify, evaluate, and select mechanical equipment in accordance with ASME, API, CSA, and other applicable codes Develop material requisitions (MRs), perform technical bid evaluations, and support procurement activities Participate in P&t, piping design coordination, and HAZOP reviews Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers and fabricators Support construction and commissioning activities, including site and vendor visits Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams to deliver accurate and constructible designs
** Senior Role (Additional Responsibilities):
** Lead the mechanical discipline on projects of varying size and complexity Provide technical oversight and ensure quality of all mechanical deliverables Mentor and guide engineers and technologists Interface with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders as required
** What We Are Looking For
** Intermediate: 5–10 years of oil & gas experience Senior: 10–20+ years of oil & gas experience EPC/EPPM background required Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (C.E.T. considered with experience) Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA (or equivalent in Canada) Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3/B31.1, CSA Z662, API standards
Experience with pressure vessels, piping systems, and mechanical equipment design
Experience with vendor coordination, package engineering, and fabrication Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Legally entitled to work in Canada
