Act as the senior technical leader and delivery coordinator for complex geohazard and geotechnical scopes on large, schedule‑sensitive infrastructure projects. Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, coordinate technical inputs across disciplines, and ensure consistent, high‑quality outcomes through investigation planning, interpretation, and field execution phases.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the delivery lead for geoscience and geotechnical scopes on major infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of geoscience and geotechnical professionals.
- Coordinate technical inputs across engineering, project management, and construction teams.
- Define investigation strategies, interpretation workflows, and technical execution plans.
- Oversee field investigation programs, including coordination with subcontractors and laboratories.
- Review and approve technical deliverables for quality, consistency, and defensibility.
- Identify and manage technical, schedule, and delivery risks.
- Mentor senior and intermediate staff and support capability development.
- Support proposals, planning studies, and early‑phase technical development as required.
- Degree in Geoscience, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience delivering geoscience and/or geotechnical scopes for infrastructure or resource projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Robust grounding in geohazards and geotechnical investigation and interpretation.
- Proven ability to deliver and review customer‑ready technical deliverables.
- Eligibility for professional registration in a North American jurisdiction (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Moderate travel is expected, including periodic site visits and short‑term field assignments during critical phases.
