As a Junior Construction Coordinator, you will support construction activities across various project phases – from early conceptual estimating through detailed bid development.
ResponsibilitiesEstimating Support
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for industrial construction projects
- Support quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and proposal development
- Collect and analyze project data, subcontractor pricing, and material quotes
- Help maintain estimating databases, cost models, and project documentation
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Work closely with senior estimators and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in site visits, scope reviews, and project meetings
- Support the development of well informed, accurate cost assumptions
Technical & Professional Growth
- Gain exposure to industrial construction methods, materials, and contracting practices
- Learn estimating software tools, cost modelling approaches, and industry standards
You are early in your construction career with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to project delivery. You bring:
- 1–2 years of industrial construction experience (required)
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude or mechanically inclined background (asset)
