In this pivotal role, you will manage environmental permitting and assessments crucial for establishing new aggregate facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote best practices and ensure adherence to environmental regulations across Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Strong communication skills are essential to engage diverse audiences and regulatory bodies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental permits and impact assessments for new projects
• Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations
• Conduct site inspections and audits for corrective action
• Develop and implement sustainability programs across facilities
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to influence positive changes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or related field
• Experience in heavy industry, especially construction materials
• Knowledge of environmental compliance frameworks
• Ability to analyze data and develop solutions
• Strong relationships with regulatory agencies and communities
