As a critical member of the Thermal Development team, your role will involve advancing SAGD wells and pads. Your strong foundation in reservoir engineering will facilitate collaboration with geoscientists to implement data-driven decision-making. You'll be vital in maximizing recovery while actively mitigating risks throughout the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and scope SAGD pads and wells from conception
• Collaborate on reservoir forecasts and effective development plans
• Analyze production data to enhance accuracy in predictions
• Optimize well placements and completion strategies
• Facilitate cross-functional communications for project clarity
Requirements:
• P.Eng. designation in good standing with APEGA
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Reservoir Engineering
• Over 8 years of experience in reservoir or production engineering
• Proficiency in numerical reservoir simulation tools
• Strong grasp of SAGD processing methodologies
