Lead innovative telecom projects with Qualus as a Principal Engineer. This Vancouver or Calgary hybrid role emphasizes advanced system designs for the electric utility sector.

In your role reporting to the Telecom Engineering Manager, you will be pivotal in designing telecommunication and operational technology systems. As a Professional of Record, you will oversee project design integrity and mentoring efforts while managing multiple projects. Your expertise will enhance the efficiency and reliability of Canada’s utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering designs ensuring compliance and standards

• Develop project timelines, resources, and budgets

• Conduct quality and constructability reviews for designs

• Mentor engineers to promote professional development

• Collaborate with clients and contractors for project success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• P.Eng. registration required in Canada

• At least 10 years of relevant experience

• Strong understanding of consulting engineering workflows

• Ability to work from the office at least three days
