We are seeking a New Graduate Chemical Engineering Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Process Engineering team.
Process EIT Responsibilities- Prepare heat and material balances.
- Prepare utility balances.
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams.
- Prepare equipment data sheets.
- Perform hydraulic calculations.
- Develop Piping and Instrument Diagrams.
- Specify instrumentation process data.
- Establish relief systems.
- Participate in safety reviews such as HAZOPs.
- Assist with equipment cost estimates.
- Develop general technical and procedural skills to become a Lead Process Engineer.
- Develop technical skills for a specific subject to become a Subject Matter Expert.
- Branch into Engineering Management or Project Management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, expected graduation 2025 or 2026.
- Familiarity with process simulation programs, spreadsheets, and word processing is considered an asset.
