Join the City of Calgary as an Electrical Project Engineer, focusing on electrical infrastructure projects within the Water Utility. Deliver critical projects while ensuring safety and compliance.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll manage capital projects for electrical distribution systems. This role requires 0-3 years of experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and a P.Eng. designation. Collaborate with internal and external teams and oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality to ensure all work meets rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage capital projects for electrical infrastructure
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality
• Validate engineering designs and contract drawings
• Conduct project construction and commissioning
• Engage with stakeholders throughout project life
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng. status
• 0-3 years relevant engineering experience
• Class 5 Driver's License for business use
• Preferred experience in industrial electrical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
