Source as a Hydraulic Engineer I in Calgary or Edmonton, AB in a hybrid setup. Leverage your expertise in pipeline and facility hydraulic design to deliver impactful project solutions.
In this role, you will provide hydraulic engineering support to enhance function, cost efficiency, safety, and operational reliability across multiple projects. You will engage in hydraulic design and analysis throughout the project lifecycle while applying core expertise in liquid dynamics, transitioning smoothly from analysis to design execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform pipeline and facility hydraulic design and analysis
• Support hydraulic and scoping analyses for project decisions
• Apply system knowledge in steady state, transient, and thermal areas
• Lead liquid hydraulic system design for assigned projects
• Provide oversight to external engineering consultants
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in a related discipline
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation
• Four years of experience in liquid pipeline design
• Ability to independently address complex engineering problems
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
