Civil Engineering Technologist

Become a Civil Engineering Technologist in Calgary with exciting responsibilities including design and project coordination. This full-time role offers a salary of $36 to $38 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, you will engage in project coordination and water control systems. The role requires a college diploma and three to five years of experience in civil engineering. Your tasks will involve reading blueprints, supervising field surveys, and consulting clients on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions and material requirements

• Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings

• Supervise field surveys and inspections of construction materials

• Provide technical advice and prepare related reports

• Consult with clients to understand project objectives

Requirements:

• College diploma or equivalent

• 3 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering

• Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, and 3D graphic software

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

• Permanent or temporary resident eligible to work in Canada
