SUMMIT is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Environmental Specialist for its Corporate Integration & Special Projects Division. In this role, you'll guide spill response initiatives, oversee reclamation projects, and mentor staff. You'll also engage with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with environmental guidelines to uphold the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide spill response strategies and assessments
• Supervise reclamation and site assessment projects
• Plan and manage project timelines and resources
• Mentor office and field teams as needed
• Maintain cost tracking and reporting accuracy
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant environmental field
• 5+ years of field experience in environmental reclamation
• Active membership in a professional association
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Alberta/Saskatchewan
• Ability to work effectively in diverse project teams
