Shape the future of water systems in Western Canada as a Senior Water and Wastewater Process Engineer s flexible role focuses on impactful, innovative engineering solutions.
As a senior member of McElhanney's team, you will leverage over a decade of experience to evaluate and develop mechanical solutions for wastewater and drinking water systems. In this leadership capacity, you will work closely with clients and stakeholders while mentoring junior staff.
Your role will emphasize sustainable practices and compliance with regulatory standards to drive community-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate wastewater and water systems
• Create visual designs using sketches and models
• Analyze facility layouts and hydraulic data
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines
• Develop client-focused proposals and project plans
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years in water infrastructure engineering
• Professional Engineer license in Alberta or BC
• Proven expertise in business development
• Experience with multi-disciplinary delivery models
• Strong client relationship management skills
