Position: Environmental Professional Junior Role
Kickstart your career as a Junior Environmental Professional with BBA Consultants in Calgary. This hybrid position focuses on both fieldwork and office tasks in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to carry out biophysical characterization, participate in impact assessments, and assist with environmental surveys. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the environment and eager to develop their skills through hands-on field and data management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in environmental impact assessments and studies

• Conduct field surveys of ecosystems and habitats

• Draft technical reports; compile environmental data

• Aid project managers in executing environmental mandates

• Assist in the preparation of permit applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field

• 1 to 3 years of applicable experience

• Familiarity with environmental field surveys

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office;
ArcGIS knowledge is a plus
