Position: Contract Operator at HWN Energy
Join HWN Energy Ltd. as a Contract Operator in Central Alberta, focusing on plant operations and safety. This camp position ensures efficient management of gas facilities and daily operational support.

As part of a high-performance team, the operator will spend 8 days on and 6 days off at the North Simonette operational area. Responsibilities include operating gas plants, routine maintenance, monitoring SCADA systems, and participating in safety initiatives. Engage in daily production reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance for sour production streams and water injection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the North Simonette gas plant and battery facilities

• Monitor SCADA systems for remote surveillance and alarms

• Conduct preventive maintenance on plant equipment

• Manage water injection system operations and compliance

• Ensure safe handling of H2S production streams

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• 2-3 years operation experience required

• 4th class Power Engineer preferred

• Familiarity with gas plant and SCADA systems

• Strong communication and organizational skills
