Engineering Manager

Position: Engineering Manager at City of Chestermere
Shape the future of infrastructure in Chestermere as the Engineering Manager. This role blends leadership, project oversight, and community impact, offering a salary of $140,000-$150,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

As a key leader reporting to the Director of Community Growth and Infrastructure, the Engineering Manager spearheads multidisciplinary teams across Development Engineering, Capital Projects, and Asset Services. You will provide engineering oversight under the APEGA Permit to Practice and ensure successful project delivery while mentoring your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in engineering projects

• Oversee review and approval of technical submissions

• Manage capital infrastructure project planning and delivery

• Establish governance standards and project management frameworks

• Build relationships with developers and community partners

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. designation

• Minimum 10 years municipal engineering experience

• 5 years in a senior supervisory role

• Familiarity with asset management and GIS platforms

• Strong leadership and communication skills
