Become an essential part of the Canadian Signals team as an Intermediate Signals Design Engineer in Calgary, Alberta. Focus on the design and consulting for advanced railway signal systems across Western Canada.
This position requires a solid background in signals design to collaborate with others in fulfilling client specifications and ensuring design accuracy. You will engage in reviewing and modifying circuitry for complex signaling applications, always adhering to regulatory standards and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support design strategies alongside Signals Design engineers
• Understand and fulfill client project requirements
• Act as signals/systems expert for consulting needs
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety and engineering values
• Review designs against applicable regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 8 years experience
• Minimum 10 years in railway signals design, specifically CTC signals
• Knowledge of relevant Canadian operators and manuals
• Competency in writing technical specifications
• Strong written and verbal English skills
