Experienced Mechanical Package Engineer

Position: Experienced Mechanical Package Engineer Wanted
Equinox Engineering Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta, is on the lookout for an Experienced Mechanical Package Engineer to lead oil and gas processing projects. Leverage your EPC background and engineering degree in this impactful role.
You will report to the Manager of Mechanical Engineering and be instrumental in designing and evaluating gas processing equipment. Your tasks will include managing vendor packages, preparing technical evaluations, and contributing to P&IDs. Candidates should possess strong project leadership skills paired with experience in both static and rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specify equipment for gas processing systems

• Conduct vendor drawing reviews and evaluations

• Manage technical bid evaluations for mechanical equipment

• Prepare material take-offs and purchase packages

• Understand and apply industry-specific piping codes
Requirements:

• EIT or P. Eng Mechanical Engineering Degree

• 5-10 years in oil and gas with EPC background

• Proficient knowledge of engineering standards (ASME, API, CSA)

• Familiarity with ABSA and AEUB requirements

• Design experience in mechanical and rotating equipment
