Environmental Compliance Planner

In this full-time position within the Assessment and Permitting team, your role will span several provinces, including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, handling all phases of environmental projects. This includes collaboratively working on assessments, navigating permitting regulations, and supporting construction and post-construction activities in power and energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, transportation, and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective project execution focused on safety and quality
• Collaborate across functional teams for assessment and permitting tasks
• Deliver environmental regulatory knowledge for various projects
• Assess environmental features and propose avoidance strategies
• Liaise with multiple agencies for permit acquisition
Requirements:
• Significant experience in environmental planning
• Deep understanding of relevant regulations and compliance
• Ability to mentor is essential for junior staff development
• Strong networking skills with clients and agencies
• Commitment to health and safety standards in project work
