Trans Mountain is looking for a motivated Process Engineer on a contract basis in Calgary. This role focuses on facility integrity, troubleshooting, and optimizing process systems for operational efficiency.
As a Contract Process Engineer, you will work in the Facility Integrity Management Program (FIMP), assessing operational data and offering solutions for improved system integrity. Your collaborative efforts will aid in the engineering review process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices. This role provides an excellent platform for contributing to significant engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess operational data to identify efficiencies and risks
• Support technical documentation and regulatory submissions
• Define safe operating limits for facility systems
• Contribute to process design validation and improvement
• Collaborate with teams for safe operation support
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• 5-10 years' relevant process engineering experience
• Familiarity with pipeline and terminal operations
• Strong knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamics
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
