Mitsubishi Power is seeking a skilled Controls Technician for gas turbine systems based in Alberta. This mid-level role focuses on troubleshooting and efficient operation of control systems.

You will engage in supporting gas turbine control systems, ensuring that safety and reliability standards are upheld. The role involves overseeing subcontractor activities, performing complex troubleshooting, and providing on-site commissioning support. Your expertise will be vital in resolving technical issues and providing precise documentation for system conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and troubleshoot complex control systems

• Coordinate subcontractor work on equipment

• Implement start-up commissioning and outages

• Generate accurate reports detailing issues and outcomes

• Work closely with customers and internal teams

Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical/electronics or a related field

• At least four years of relevant tech experience

• Skills in reading and writing technical documents

• Ability to analyze complex problems reliably

• Reside within three hours of Calgary or Edmonton
