Take on the role of Environmental Engineer focusing on contaminated sites in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time, hybrid role emphasizes environmental assessments and strategic remediation plans.
As part of the DCS team, you'll assess and remediate contaminated soil and groundwater to ensure regulatory compliance. This mid-level position involves conducting environmental site assessments, developing action plans, and providing mentorship to junior staff. Engage with contractors and regulatory agencies to support successful project outcomes and uphold safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Develop remedial action plans and monitoring strategies
• Analyze environmental data for risk assessments
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Coordinate project budgets and schedules
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Technical writing skill and attention to detail
• Professional accreditation (GIT/EIT/P.Geo/P.Eng) preferred
• Ability to travel for site projects
