Senior Electrical Engineer Oil & Gas Projects

Take your career to the next level as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the oil and gas sector. This office-based role includes occasional travel to project sites and teamwork across engineering disciplines.

We seek a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years in electrical design and strong familiarity with oil and gas projects, particularly SAGD facilities. You should also have a solid grasp of high-voltage systems and electrical protection. This position emphasizes compliance, design optimization, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify electrical designs including layouts and calculations

• Develop and prepare RFQ documentation

• Manage vendor proposal evaluations

• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• 10-15 years of relevant experience

• Oil & gas industry experience, especially SAGD

• P.Eng. registration required

• Excellent communication skills
