Oil and Gas Production Optimization Technologist

Maximize operational excellence in oil and gas as a Petroleum Engineering Technologist. Focus on subsurface data management and production optimization within the SAGD environment for enhanced efficiency.
This contract position entails monitoring well performance and analyzing production data to support engineering initiatives aimed at improving overall operations. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to implement solutions for production challenges while optimizing subsurface data utilization. Your experience with data analysis tools will significantly contribute to successes in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze well performance data and fluid compositions

• Troubleshoot production challenges with engineering teams

• Compile and support simulation models for better efficiency

• Optimize subsurface data such as well logs and seismic data

• Develop databases for efficient data reporting
Requirements:

• Eligible to live and work in Canada

• Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology or similar

• 5–10 years of SAGD experience within oil and gas

• Proficient in software like Wellview and PI

• Ability to work independently and within teams
