Oil & Gas Piping Engineering Specialist

Join COOEC Canada as a Piping Engineering Specialist in Calgary, specializing in stress analysis and piping layouts. This role requires occasional travel to various project sites.
You will leverage over a decade of engineering experience to conduct detailed stress assessments and material evaluations for a range of oil and gas applications.

Requisition s, and resolving complex design issues. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct piping stress assessments in compliance with industry standards

• Evaluate mechanical equipment for nozzle loading

• Prepare and review necessary engineering documentation

• Develop layout plans for pipeline systems

• Provide field engineering support during construction
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation considered an asset

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability

• Demonstrated experience in oil and gas projects
