Become an Emissions Technician focused on emission inspections in the Oil and Gas sector. Leverage advanced technology to identify and quantify hydrocarbon gas leaks effectively.
In this role, your main responsibilities include conducting inspections using Optical Gas Imaging cameras and navigating to diverse facilities utilizing GPS technology. Calibration and maintenance of equipment will be part of your daily tasks, complemented by accurate data collection and reporting. This job demands strong analytical abilities and may require occasional independent work shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in navigating to facilities with maps and GPS
• Detect emissions using Optical Gas Imaging technology
• Help calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
• Collect and record data for emission reports
• Prepare field reports detailing inspections and findings
Requirements:
• Engineering Diploma/Degree (Mechanical, Petroleum, etc.)
• Effective computer skills in Microsoft Office software
• Ability to respond within one hour for standby duties
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Willingness to travel as needed for inspections
Utilize your engineering background and analytical skills while ensuring compliance in emissions standards across various sites.
