Senior Estimator at FLINT

FLINT is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead project cost analysis and support profitable proposals. This role requires strong estimating expertise, collaboration with teams, and a focus on accuracy for successful project execution.

The Senior Estimator will spearhead the preparation and evaluation of project cost estimates, contributing to the development of competitive bidding strategies. Collaborating with Operations and Project Controls, the individual will manage risk assessment and ensure alignment with execution plans. This role is vital for delivering comprehensive cost analyses, enhancing bid quality, and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review proposal specifications and drawings to establish scope

• Develop estimating strategies focused on risk management

• Consult with Operations on accurate pricing of labor and materials

• Perform quantity take-offs for structural and mechanical components

• Assist in creating work breakdown structures and budget updates

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of estimating experience in relevant fields

• Strong knowledge of cost estimating processes

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office

• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings
