Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Position: Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Role
Shape the future of gas plants as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer. This role involves design, implementation, and commissioning of control systems in a dynamic environment.

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to oversee multiple projects involving gas plants, compressor stations, and pipelines. You will utilize your skills in developing P&IDs, preparing specifications, and conducting design calculations. Your collaborative approach will be crucial in working with project managers and vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

• Support schedule development and engineering cost estimates

• Prepare technical specs and assist in bid evaluations

• Review vendor drawings for compliance with standards

• Perform instrument sizing and design calculations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Instrumentation or related field

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

• EIT or P. Eng designation preferred

• Familiarity with industry codes and standards

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
