Total Metalworks is looking for a Design Engineer / Project Engineer to join our dynamic Calgary team. This position suits those who excel at problem-solving and enjoy working hands-on with fabrication personnel. You will engage in all project phases, from concept development to field reviews, using your expertise to create and analyze designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical and structural designs for projects

• Create and review 3D models and fabrication drawings

• Perform engineering calculations and design assessments

• Prepare technical reports and documentation

• Support project estimating and proposals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering

• P.Eng. certification or EIT eligibility with APEGA

• Proficient in Solid Works or similar CAD software

• Strong understanding of engineering principles

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
